While some people played it safe with lower elevation rides. I decided to see how far up Bench Creek I could get before I hit snow and mud. As far as the single track climb, about 1 mile if that. So DV Chad and I turned around and proceeded to climb up the dirt road and catch the downhill single track from there. We did find a couple of mud bogs on the road, but were able to either ride around them or walk around them.
On the way down though we managed to find some frozen ground with a thin layer of wet slimy mud on top to keep things interesting. Sorry Mark I didn't get any pics, with arm warmers (that I didn't need) and a vest(that I didn't need). I didn't have any room for a camera.
