Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch

Utrider and I decided to head up Butterfield to the saddle. Utrider

was running a compact so I ended up going lactic on the tough middle section and then after that he pulled away while I was trying to recover. Finally about 3/4 of the way up I was able to get a good spin going and was able to bridge back up to him just before the saddle.



The ride down was a little scary, there was a lot of dirt on the road and a lot more traffic than usual in the upper canyon. It was a good 2 hour ride, and I'm a little spent from mashing that middle section.
