At Least I've been Riding

I know I’m being horrible about posting on my blog. About the only interesting thing going on is messing around with the Edge 305. Sunday I got out for a good 2.5 hour ride to the mouth of Yellow Fork canyon. I changed the auto pause to 1 mph and didn’t run into any false start issue while at a stop. I also decided that while limited the Garmin software does give me most of the functionality that I need along with the free motion based account. Yesterday I did manage to ride after work in PC and was able to do a quick loop around Silver Creek Junction.

Since it was only a 1 hour ride I really pushed things and stayed in Zone 4 most of the ride. Yea it’s the not the best thing for this early in the season but it gave me a chance to see how my race pace fitness is progressing since I missed the huge race in St. George Saturday.

I am also hopeful that by the end of the week I’ll have a new mountain bike ordered. I’m still not sure which bike I’ll get probably the Giant.
