If you can't beat it...

I finally gave in. I went skiing for the first time this season. Like a lot of Utahns, I've become a ski snob. I'll admit it, if the snow isn't good I won't ski. It's not like the mountains are going anywhere. I have some snowchecks that I needed to use up at Deer Valley, so I took the family skiing yesterday. It was a good day for groomers and we even managed to find a few powder stashes in the trees. I ran into Climbum, BZ, the Duke, and the Bull Elk and got a run in with them.

On the bike front I'm still leaning toward the Frozen Hog in two weeks, if the ground stays hard. I may try and run down on Saturday and try and get a preride in, are you down for a ride around Lambert Saturday Stupidbike?

I've never ridden Lambert before and could use some time away from the trainer. That is, if the temps are at least in the 20's! If you want some company send me an email at mcak4 at comcast dot net. My snow riding experience is limited to the canal roads near my house so be warned that my skills, while already limited on the dirt, are practically non-existant on the snow!
