Good guys do finish first.

I don’t know Bartman all that well. I’ve travel to a couple of races with his pasture pool (golf) playing brother KyleG, but the couple of time I’ve met Bart you get the impression that this is a guy that would do anything for his friends.

In the world of cycling it seems everyone is getting caught doping and the injustice of seeing someone get a suspension for something that is a pretty gray seemed like a pretty bitter pill to swallow. I have a couple of kids and they have come out to races and I always point out people like Bart, Climbum Jones, and Kathy S as people who have worked hard, followed the rules, and achieved success doing something they like. Now neither of my kids have shown any interest in cycling which is fine, how cool is it do like something your parents like? But, it gets tough in today’s world to point out to kids that hard work and following the rules pays off when you have people like Bonds, Hamilton, and, if he’s found guilty, Landis breaking the rules and achieving success, and guys like Sager and Bartman getting lumped into the same group on grey technicality. Seeing Bart get his vindication just goes to show, sometimes nice guys finish first.

On the training front, I wish this week wouldn’t have been Sundance week. The temps in PC have been in the 40’s so it would be nice to be able to ride for 30-45 minutes after work on a bike under clear skies

rather then on the trainer at home in the muck. But I don’t think trying to ride a road bike through PC this week is a good idea unless your crazy like a Fox.

I'm looking to ride the Frozen Hog course tomorrow at 10:00 if anyone is interested I started a thread on utahmountainbiking.com to discuss.
