The Final Days

I’m in the final stages of my preparation for LOTOJA. Got the start list for my group and it looks like the only people I know in it are the Bikeman guys that I’m riding with. Thursday I took the day off and did the Strawberry/Wolf Creek loop with the Bull Elk. I guess that 5 hours of sleep Tuesday night really killed me. I had no legs and it took me almost a pathetic 8 hours to ride a measly 120 miles. Now I’m just focused on keeping the legs fresh. Sunday did an easy 2 hour ride to Yellow Pine canyon and then did the Copperton TT from the highway to the gate in just over 9 minutes and didn’t even hit my lactic threshold. The legs feel really good. Got a bad picture of Oquirrh Lake at Daybreak.

It’s finally open and Monday when I did the quick 1 hour ride around Daybreak there were quite a few people hanging out. Wednesday I’ll do another easy couple of hours on the bike and then that is it before heading up to Logan for the race.
