The season is pretty much over. I should be racing with my friends in Mammoth this weekend, but finances have dictated otherwise. Once more race next weekend in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, and the mountain bike season will be officially over.
One thing I think would be good is the idea that is floating around that Lance Armstrong should start doing some mountain bike racing. The Texas NORBA isn't far from his house and neither is the Nova desert classic. With the financial hard-times that mountain biking is under it would be a big boost to the sport and he wouldn't have to worry about the French press.
On a random note, I guess this guy never left the 80's check him out complete with the Vuarnets and Converse Skidgrips.
