This doesn't make sense

So the geniuses that brought us a new mountain bike categorization system, that you would think match the current Cat 1-5 road system but doesn't, and can't get enough sponsors and racers to run a national series, now tells us that mountain bike licenses are up? I wonder if they will be saying the same thing after all national races have been canceled unless you live on the East or West coasts.

I wonder if this is the same marketing arm that tells us everyone loves Vista as long it's not called Vista.
