I decided to enter the Tour De Park City. Although Bob would rather have this happen
then do such a long race, I'm actually finding the challenges and rewards of endurance racing becoming more and more enjoyable.
Looks like the mountain bike racing season is over for me. Can't hit any of the Solitude races, which I enjoyed this year. I decided to do support for the Bull Elk as he attempts to finish Leadville this year so no Wolverine Ridge.
I am looking forward to just getting out and hitting some trails this fall. I'd like to do some night riding but need to get a light set. Any suggestions? I've been looking at the Light and Motion Arc, as it seems to be the best light I've tested and seen.

HID is dieing, LED is where it's at. LED light output and power efficiency are improving every year. Just ask Dave Harris (http://2-epic.com/?p=153). Sly likes the MiNewt. I made my own light.
I'm going the opposite direction - prefer the short, fast rides. Just grinding out miles bores me.
I have a nice Nite Rider HID Storm which has served me well for 4 years of 24 Hrs of Moab. I'm selling for $100, you can't loose even if you want to purchase another LED light for your handlebars, this thing works great.
