Yea I love the commercials, it reminded me of a couple of experiences over the past couple of days of messin' with people.
Like a lot of people I find it idiotic that people will sit in their car for minutes waiting for a parking spot because they are too lazy to walk an additional 20 feet.
Saturday was a long overdue trip to Costco. As I was heading to the car I was being stalked by a car obviously looking for a parking spot. As I arrived at my car the car stopped and used what must be the sign for I'm too lazy to walk, the turn signal in a parking lot. Looking down the row about 15 feet away was an empty spot, but that must be too far to walk for this person. I proceeded to as slowly as I could unload my cart, slowly walk over to the cart corral, returned my cart making sure it was secure, slowly walked back to my car, acted like I was looking for my keys in my pocket before I opened the door to get in, got in the car, fiddled around like I was looking for something, started the car, adjusted my rear view mirror, looked at the time to figure out how much time I had wasted, about 2 minutes, and finally put the car in reverse and left. So this idiot wasted 2 minutes idling a car so they didn't have to walk 15 feet.
My next favorite pastime is, "I'm not really leaving". This one I do at work everyone once in a while. Last night was the Cole Sport Monday night ride in Park City. About 15 minutes before I leave I walk down to the car to get my clothes so I can changed at work rather then in a bathroom at the shop. As I approach my car I noticed a car stalking me. I open the door, don't get in, but look like I'm looking for something for about 60 seconds, finally get in the car so I can look on the floor of the passenger side for something, grab my bag and leave. Then this person gives me a nasty look as I lock the doors and walk back up to the office.
