Rather then about this -
I was cruising through Daybreak and was feeling good decided since there wasn't any traffic to take a corner at 22 mph and everything was fine as I start into the turn and then as I started to straighten out I must have hit layer of dirt on the road and just started sliding.
I ended up with some road rash. The worse part is, my bike is pretty much done. Both shifters, the rear derailleur, the frame where the derailleur pulled it are all jacked along with my rear wheel which has some bent spokes.
Not quite sure what the future holds since I'm not ready to buy a new bike. The upside is I'll be doing a lot more riding on dirt this summer. The 10 hours of Park City might be fun...

Dang! That rash looks nasty! Too bad it wasn't wet, you may have slid more and rashed less. Sad you bike got trashed.
