Not quite as bad.

My initial assessment of my bike seems a little off. I'm not sure of the functionality of the shifters, but the good news is the frame seems to be okay. The part that is bent is the rear derailleur hanger.

The rear derailleur is trashed and I'm not sure the status of the rear wheel.

Also my brand new bar tape is trashed on one side which is okay since after installing it I decided I didn't like the color.

Step one will be to take off the rear derailleur and hanger tonight and see if I can at least get a new hanger and order a new rear derailleur.

As for me, I'm not sure I'll be able to race on Sunday. I haven't been on a bike since and my road rash on the thigh/hip seems to be a problem. It isn't fun wearing pants even with a bandage because there is still some friction that irritates it. I'll try a couple of different thickness of bandage and tape to see how it does with lycra tonight or tomorrow.
