Not quite ready for primetime

There was some discussion on Mark's blog about how soon Butterfield Canyon will be ridable. I thought it would be quite a while so on my ride today I decided to check it out and see just what the road looks like. There was no riding past gate.


And looking up at the Wild Horse Center

there is still a lot of snow yet to melt. My guess is that if the weather stays warm enough to keep melting the snow the lower half may be clear enough to ride by April.
