My first time...

I got my first flat of the year this weekend. I knew the tires were on borrowed time I have been running them since the spring.
Three weeks to LOTOJA so it’s time to get some long saddle time in. I decided to hit the K-town, PC, East Canyon, Hennefer, Coalville loop Sunday morning. Things were going well until Deer Mouse got a flat near little Dell. Since he had a bad tube we were down to two tubes and one Co2 cartridge. As we climbed to the top of the pass between East Canyon and Hennefer I heard a bang and was hoping it wasn’t the sidewall. I was lucky and used a dollar bill to patch the hole.



Finally just outside of Coalville the patch failed and we had to call the Duke to pick us up.
