I did manage to hit the Wednesday night race at Soldier Hollow. It was a good chance to see how much fitness I’ve lost. Not too much which makes me pretty happy. I really suffered on the first lap as you can see,
managed to pick off a couple of people on lap two and felt even stronger on lap three. My lap times on all three laps were pretty consistent right around the 18 minute mark which isn’t fast, but it is consistent.
I’m now getting the hunger back to train as LOTOJA is 6 weeks away. Mentally I think this break has been good to help renew my focus on riding and training.
