Spring is in the air....

Last week was pretty busy. I went up to Spokane early in the week to check out a possible move. We decided to stay in the congested Salt Lake Valley instead. The move would have meant I could semi-retire and possibly spend more time training and seeing what my full potential would be in cycling, but in the end we decided the opportunities are better in Salt Lake.

I got some good rides in over the weekend. I went out again with the RMCC guys out to Saratoga Springs on Saturday. After 3 hours I decided I had enough and went home. I got a good 50 miles in at a moderate pace.
Sunday was supposed to be a recovery ride with the Broken Bull Elk but I don’t think he’s as wounded as he would have you believe in Park City.

Saw this dude on the freeway.

We did a hill climb up Promontory,

Here's the new golf course at Promontory

Here's a look at toward the Kamas area and the High Uintas

then headed out to the Glendwild area for another climb. It was only 1.5 hours but had some good climbs.
Yesterday I did the Daybreak loop at a good race pace and was able to knock 10% off my time from last week.

When do you expect the new ride to arrive?
