Paranoid?

The other day someone asked my why I don’t put my name on my blog. I’m paranoid! Working in the computer industry I know that there are a lot of people in Eastern Europe alone that make really good money dealing identities. I’m not oblivious to the fact that I’m not completely safe, but I’d like to make it easier for them to steal someone else’s identity rather then mine.

Just how valuable is your identity?

A co-worker had their car broken into this week at home. They broke the back window, climbed over a very expensive set of binoculars, ignored the $1,000+ ham radio head unit and $500 GPS to take the vehicle registration and a checkbook.

So forgive me if I don’t post the name, birthdates, and location that each member of my family was born like my cousin did. (That's asking for trouble) I worked hard for who I am and I don’t want some meth-head or teenager from Romania using my identity.

I'm just gonna post your vitals on my site, including that phone conversation in Jackson about billing addresses, just cause i want to test out your theories.
