Slow week

This week has been pretty slow. Rode Sunday with Stupidbike and had a great time. Monday did more of the usual by tooling around the south-west end of the valley. Got out yesterday to do a hard climb up Butterfield and discovered that late last year they actually paved the road to the peak. I didn’t make it to the peak and after 50 minutes of hard climbing decided that I shouldn’t over-exert three days before a race. A lot of debris is still on the upper road but the lower road is pretty clear. Hopefully it will be a couple of weeks before they open the road and I can enjoy the solitude.
