I went for a ride Sunday up the Mirror Lake Highway with the Bull Elk and Won Poo. Just before we got to the falls we started running into snow. As we made our way through the drifts we noticed a car stuck. We then proceeded to spend the good part of the next hour helping a Russian family on vacation get their car out of the snow.
After two weeks of hard riding I decided to pull back a little this week and give my body some much needed rest. I managed to stay off the bike until Wednesday when I decided to tackle Butterfield canyon again. 
I finally made it to the top 
and got some pics of the road. 
There is still quite a bit of debris on the upper sections of the road. 
There isn’t any snow on the SL side but it looks like there still might be snow down middle canyon.
It looks like the weather is still supposed to be unseasonably hot so I’ll pass on the Soldier Hollow race.
